Starting my blog today! Planning to update it daily. Stay tuned!

6:00 AM: Starting the Day with Green Tea

The alarm rings at 6:00 AM. I take a moment for myself with a warm cup of green tea—it’s my little ritual before diving into the chaos. First task: making bento boxes for my two sons. Today’s menu is a simple pork bowl (butadon) using Tokachi sauce, which saves me time and effort.

Breakfast is next—instant miso soup is my go-to on busy mornings. By 7:30 AM, my older son heads to school for his exams, and my younger son leaves at 8:30 AM for club activities. My husband? Still asleep, of course.

12:00 PM: Delivering Skis and Discovering a New Supermarket

At noon, I drop off ski equipment for my older son, who forgot it at home (again). On the way back, I stop by a supermarket I’ve been curious about. To my surprise, it offers plenty of affordable items—a relief considering the rising prices in Japan.

Balancing the household budget is a daily challenge, but little wins like this make it a bit easier.

5:00 PM: Dinner Prep and Family Time

Evening rolls around, and it’s time to prepare dinner. Tonight’s menu features karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and fresh sashimi (flounder and salmon).

After dinner prep, I drive my older son to his gym session while my younger son dozes off on the sofa.

1:00 AM: Finally Going to Bed

After everything is cleaned up and the family is settled, I finally crawl into bed at 1:00 AM.
