A Busy Tuesday : Zoom Meetings and Family Life

6:00 AM – Waking Up for Early Morning Practice

Tuesdays always start early. My younger son had morning tennis practice, so I had to wake him up before 6 AM. As usual, getting him out of bed was challenging, but by 6:30 AM, he was out the door.

7:00 AM – A Rare Break from Lunchbox Prep

Today, my older son had a ski class at school, which meant no lunchbox preparation—a rare and welcome relief! With some unexpected free time, I enjoyed a peaceful cup of coffee while going through my schedule.

9:00 AM – Cleaning and Work

With the house quiet, I quickly cleaned up, did the laundry, and then shifted to my work. Lately, I’ve been focusing on my new blog about information education, so I took some time to organize ideas and plan upcoming content.

12:30 PM – A Quick Lunch

For lunch, I kept things simple and reheated leftovers from last night. Surprisingly, there was enough variety to make for a satisfying meal.

3:00 PM – Zoom Meeting

In the afternoon, I had a Zoom meeting, so I made sure to finish my tasks before logging in. After an intense discussion, I took a short break before the kids arrived home.

5:30 PM – Cooking Dinner: Taco Rice and Penne Arrabbiata

Since I didn’t prepare lunchboxes today, I put more effort into dinner.

  • Taco Rice: I sautéed ground meat with spices, placed it over rice, then topped it with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and salsa. It’s quick, easy, and a favorite in our house.
  • Penne Arrabbiata: I used my automatic cooker to prepare a spicy tomato-based pasta. The best part? It cooks automatically, so I could take care of other things while waiting.

7:00 PM – Tennis Practice

After dinner, my younger son had tennis practice. Since it was a cold evening, I stayed in the car, reading a book while waiting.

9:00 PM – Wrapping Up the Day

I picked up my son from practice, and we headed home. After a relaxing bath, I finally had a moment to unwind. Before bed, I checked the fridge to make sure I had everything for tomorrow’s lunchbox prep.
